Purple Iris, delicate and serene, is the first painting I painted in my Iris series. Originally painted with a blue background, the color just wasn’t quite right for a purple iris, so I added the grey and white, leaving little bits of blue to peak out. I think it’s the perfect amount of color contrast now! And the blue is beautiful, just in small doses, of course!
This Glicee print is printed on lovely, thick, acid free paper that feels much like water color paper. It absorbs the ink colors in such a way that the print takes on a life of its own. Soft, yet stark, vibrant and bold, the paper and ink makes the print!
All of my Glicee prints are signed, numbered and carefully packaged. All prints are 350DPI printed with Archival Ink and Acid Free Paper.
When buying the print only, prints are made for an 10x20” frame. Image size is 9x18”, so look for a mat with an opening of 8.5x17.5” for the best fit. Custom Mats can be found online.
