As the dandelion goes to seed, there is an explosion of future possibility, of future life! The paint itself speaks of motion, life cycles, and joy. Reminiscent of flowers past their prime and ready to embark on a new dream, perhaps you have dreams you’re going to take on today?
This is the first in a series of three, called End of Days. It is a group of paintings I painted this winter, mainly because I love the 'explosion' of taking a straw and blowing it outward onto my canvas!
This Glicee print is printed on lovely, thick, acid free paper that feels much like water color paper. It absorbs the ink colors in such a way that the print takes on a life of its own. Soft, yet stark, vibrant and bold, the paper and ink makes the print! You can get the small print, but the bigger one really does bring out the nuance of the painting better.
