Love, in Pansy (Sold, print only)

Love, In Pansy. What IS the word for ‘love’ in Pansy? If Pansies could talk, I think the word ‘love’ would be in the way their colors blend together, in the gentleness of their curves, in the humbleness of their stature.

This piece is an abstract representation of flowers speaking, specifically Pansies, but you might see other flowers too! The paint was manipulated in a pretty traditional ‘Paint Pour’ technique, (hair dryer), and then embellished. Stamens were then scratched in with orange paint to further the flower connection, light/dark added for contrast.

This Glicee print is printed on lovely, thick, acid free paper that feels much like water color paper. It absorbs the ink colors in such a way that the print takes on a life of its own. Soft, yet stark, vibrant and bold, the paper and ink makes the print!
